Colossians 1:28 NIV “He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.” This episode explores our role in guiding one another towards Jesus – working out our faith, a bit like Sherpas, supporting one another, carrying each others’ ‘burdens’ and encouraging one another on.
Jesus exampled this in his interactions with others, for example – the Samaritan woman at the well, arrived ashamed, but left free, saying “”Come, see a man who told me everything l ever did. Could this be the Messiah?” (John 4:29), leading to the response of the villagers who responded to her saying “We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Saviour of the world.” (John 4:42)

You might be employed, volunteering, a parent caring for a child. Whatever your ‘workplace’ God cares about the everyday – the mundane; He’s not only interested in the ‘spiritual moments’ where we might share the gospel, or pray for someone.
God’s original plan – described in Genesis 2:4-15 – is for us to work. It’s part of who He made us to be. As we work, we are able to show others what God is like. In other words, God trusts us to represent Him wherever we are, whoever we’re with and whatever we’re doing! Wow! He wants us to partner with Him in this great work of developing creation! Listen as Lydia and Jonty unpack what this means to them and how it might apply to you in your situation.
