Then, to take a further twist on the themes of Yom Kippur, they discuss the three "original sins" of the United States, and connect the dots in how some of the same mistakes keep recurring as long as we don't confront and get past them. You can't be forgiven if you don't understand how what you did was wrong in the first place, America!
