This episode covers more history on lynching in the U.S. and a case that hit me hard. James Byrd Jr. (Pictured below) was murdered on June 7th, 1998. This murder stuck out to me as especially cruel in its trickery.
As difficult as it is to face the fact of lynching in this country, it is so important to continue to educate ourselves. This will not be the last part in the series.
