Hounaida Bellasfar, alongside my purpose, I live a simple and meaningful life. I am an artist and a lover of improv. I once held a painting exhibition where I sold all my paintings for the benefit of the Cristina Noble Foundation. Creativity has always been one of my ways to express joy and purpose.I take care of a small hobby farm and cherish life with my fur family—my dogs, cat, birds, chickens, and goats. Being surrounded by animals grounds me and brings me daily peace and emotional support.I love minimalism and believe in living with simplicity and intention. I am deeply connected to the spiritual world.I also find joy in traveling, exploring new cultures, and tasting the richness of different foods.Though I am an introvert, I thrive in authentic, deep connections. For me, quality always outweighs quantity when it comes to relationships. I love evolving, learning, and embracing life fully with gratitude, appreciation, satisfaction, and contentment. I grew up with emotionally immature parents in a home filled with daily fights and conflict. I was told I wasn’t wanted. I felt rejected, unloved, and that I didn’t belong. My needs never mattered, and what I had to say wasn’t important. I wasn’t self-expressed, and I craved attention and love. I became a pleaser and an achiever.At 22, my mother slapped me repeatedly in the face, while my father stood by without protecting me. I felt humiliated, worthless, and small.I pursued a career as an architect and project manager in the construction field, working in Paris (FR), London (UK), and Montreal (CA). I traveled the world. Outwardly, I was successful. Inwardly, I was lonely, anxious, depressed, and burned out. I had once dreamed of success as a way to escape my struggles.
