You are not poor, you are distracted...This is the great ruse of the technology age DISTRACTION.
The other day I posted about the astonishing number of social media platforms out there-- a staggering 125! Are you getting sucked into the scroll? It is not your fault. Humans are highly distractible. (Ask me how I know!).
When our energy is sucked by consuming entertainment it can be overwhelming. If you’re thinking thoughts like, “How am I ever going to carve out time to build my coaching practice?” You’re not alone.
Spending vs Investing is something I post about often and this time is no different. Like: Spending money on band aid solutions vs. investing money to go deep into the subconscious protections that keep you stuck. Spending energy in negative self-talk vs. investing in a support system to embody your uniqueness and celebrate your alignment. And spending time on entertainment vs. investing time creating a business.
We all know the life you are dreaming of is not going to happen while you’re scrolling or netflixing. It doesn’t even happen when you get all the best tactics and shiny new tech. It happens when you give yourself PERMISSION to invest in the right tools and support...and then turn those tools and support into an inspiring service for others.
Inner Peace, Satisfaction, Success and Awe are all WEALTH mindsets and the Human Design System is your guide to being wealthy. Most wealthy people provide a service for other people.
What if you could provide a service while you lived in service? Let me tell you what I mean. I travelled to a conference with a friend about 6 years ago and we met RaKesh at the conference. He wore a long coat and a leather fedora.
He was conversing with the numerous people in the conference and he came over to my friend and me and introduced himself. He told us he was dreaming of becoming a Billionaire….we both smiled and immediately asked him what he did for a living… He giggled and said he was an author, spiritual activist and coach….and I thought ‘well hot damn, if he can set his goal there then why can’t I?’ I prodded a little more, “What is your plan to become a billionaire?” He said, “I am going to help 1 Billion People come back to self-love.”
Boom…. What was his secret? Money was not his focus! It became secondary as he aligned to his truth. This was a total reframe for me. Why? Because I didn’t get into Human Design to become rich, I got into Human Design because I was ready to serve people and asked the Universe to provide me with a vehicle to use. “How can I serve a Billion People?” is a question that I just recently began to write in my journal again.

Shifting the needle from a 😢 JOB to a 🙂 JOB is about investing in your growth, the right tools and support. Receiving wealth by letting go of distractions. Can you make time for this question in your day? “How can I serve a billion people?” (If a billion feels overwhelming, start with 100 or 1000.) As the Universe begins to shuffle the parts and pieces to make this happen, lean back into your Strategy and Authority so you can witness what the Universe brings to you.
