Nazanin, a British-Iranian citizen, was arrested in 2016 while visiting family in Iran, accused of spying and plotting against the government. Despite evidence disputing these charges, she spent six years in prison, with her husband launching a relentless campaign for her release. She was finally freed in 2022, but her story of imprisonment and the UKs involvement in her release continues to unfold.
