Background: For nearly 500 years, the bishops of Moray relaxed in this majestic building a short distance from their cathedral at Elgin. It even had its own bowling green and, according to one account, a tennis court. Today, you can climb David’s Tower, where bishops once entertained kings and queens. Very occasionally the property has to close at short notice due to adverse weather conditions or other reasons out with our control.
