In this 13th episode of the docuseries "If I Turn Up Dead Tomorrow, You Know Who to Look For", Magga recalls the moment when she was "filled with courage" and publicly denounced the brutal aggression she suffered. It was after a show she had with Colombian singer Maluma. The public denouncement went viral and more women approached her claiming to be victims of the same predator. She was speechless. The public recognized that the abuser was Ricky Martin's dancer and the press got involved. She decided to stand up for herself and the other victims, and she felt she was not alone... Suddenly a high-profile lawyer appeared to represent the abuser in the legal case. His name: Jose Baez. It was then that a dirty legal battle began. During it, agents, public relations people, choreographers and dancers defended and covered up for the abuser.
Magga's intention is to encourage more victims to denounce abuse and get out of the traumatic circle in which they live, thus saving lives.
