The Journey of an Agripreneur featuring Lenah Mwangi
Lenah is an AWEC, YALI and Mandela Fellowship alumni. She grew up in Njoro, amongst farmers. However, she actively avoided farming but as fate would have it, she was led back to it through Inuka Agri-Solutions! Her journey is anything but a straight line. She started by selling clothes in Nairobi then closing the business along the way to become a mum and feed her entrepreneurial interests! How did she do it?  By taking a bet on herself and her community before and after post-election violence; Volunteering for organizations in need of her agricultural skills; Finding innovative ways to earn money while volunteering; Influencing other youth into agriculture; Having a solid support system as a mum founder; Engaging that support system through Design Thinking! There's so much to learn in this episode! What are you waiting for? Press Play! Connect with Lenah on LinkedIn Subscribe to Ignite Women Entrepreneurs Podcast for more of Lenah!
