Have you been feeling a bit overwhelmed and distracted all of a sudden?

Well… it’s not random.

Some spiritual warfare comes because your peace and focus intimidates the enemy. So when all of a sudden you feel distractions come out of nowhere, it’s a sign you’re heading somewhere only God can take the credit for. Your spirit is renewed to a greater degree and your mind and soul is about to catch up. God sustained you and is carrying you forward, while the enemy wants you to stay backwards, mentally. Don’t let the distraction and the feeling of overwhelm intimidate. Use it as fuel to dig deeper to God’s word and His presence through prayer and worship. God’s word will protect your focus and prepare you for the next season. For many of us, the Lord is wanting you to invest more time in prayer and in His word instead of writing down specific goals for the new year.
