Melancholia happens when part of us tries to hold life exactly where it used to be. It shows up as a deep nostalgia, a wish for things to stay the same, even when everything around us is moving. When we resist change, our energy gathers in the solar plexus, the center where emotions, memories, and identity meet. That is why melancholy feels like pressure or heaviness. When we idealize old times or cling to who we were, we stop meeting the present with openness, and this creates emotional gravity that pulls us backward. Some cultures teach impermanence through rituals like building and erasing mandalas to remind us that nothing is meant to stay frozen. Melancholia fades when we release the past, welcome movement, and allow new versions of life to appear. Letting go is not losing it is returning to flow.
The Big Lesson
Melancholia weakens when we stop holding on to what already ended. Letting go brings movement, and movement brings clarity. Growth begins when we stop trying to keep the past alive.
These texts and audios are inspired by Matias De Stefano and the I AM Path journey shared in Egypt during 2020 / 21. Today we explore the theme MELANCHOLIA, representing Day 105 in Scorpio Constellation, under the vibration of I DESIRE, during the Emotional Week.
