From a young age, Enana knew they were part of the LGBTQ+ community, but the circumstances in Syria made it difficult for them to express themselves. Despite the rejection they faced from their family and society, Enana always held a strong belief that we must break the rules imposed upon us simply because we don’t agree with them

When Enana moved to Germany, they found the freedom they had always dreamed of, and became able to be themselves with pride. Enana believes that no one should conform to preconceived judgments or gender norms, and that we should live our lives as we wish, without fear or shame.
