HB & LB are back in this special BONUS episode along with a very special guest, Jamie!
We delve into the summer blockbuster Inside Out 2 and how the film’s portrayal of emotions, particularly anxiety, resonates with our personal experiences and promotes understanding of mental health.
We go deep in exploring specific scenes, themes of self-acceptance, friendship, grounding techniques, and the complexities of growing up.
We also touch on the authentic portrayal of panic attacks and the importance of embracing all emotions and parts of ourselves with love and compassion. Our conversation also includes personal anecdotes, favorite quotes, and the efficacy of the film in representing mental health issues.
Jamie @jamiebearfancypants is a cosplayer and actress from the tri-state area. Through those avenues, not only has she been able to express her love of all things creative, but she's also been able to search within on a long journey of self-love. Being a strong supporter of all things acceptance and reflection, she's extremely excited to be able to bring that and her love of these films into a single space.
