The Reagan Revolution was a palatable version of much more insidious policies stemming from the libertarian wing of the Republican party.  Yet, it set in motion a trend toward deregulation and distrust of government that we are still wrestling with today.  In fact, such disastrous drip drip poisoning of our government has brought us to the brink of disaster and the need for real revolution and an honest attempt at democratic economic reform.
