Paco Osuna's record label, Mindshake, welcomes the return of GruuvElement's, who presents a tribal tech house EP with rolling basslines.
GruuvElement's is a Romanian artist featuring on Mindshake for the second time. His upbeat style of tech house utilises live percussion fills and stripped back grooves, and his music has been released on other prestigious record labels ranging from Crosstown Rebels to Solid Grooves Raw.
This four-track release is tailor-made for the dance floor, and each of the tracks have been heavily supported in Paco Osuna's recent DJ sets. GruuvElement's music has also been played by other DJs ranging from Marco Carola to Carl Cox.
"Sweat" opens the release with explosive snare hits, saxophone flurries, and a funky bassline. Next up is the title track, "Clap to the Beat," which has a hypnotic groove utilising the slick tones of captivating vocals. "Afterparty" has hedonistic vocals and trippy trumpet stabs layered over fast-paced percussion. "Euphoric" closes the release with an infectious bassline, underpinning vibrant percussion and quirky vocals.
