
How to spark intrinsic motivation - my lessons from 9 years of leadership roles leading volunteers
Intrinsic motivation is incredibly important for the successes of your company. In every aspect of it.
Motivated employees will simply be happier doing their job, which automatically leads to a better working environment. Therefore teams can work more efficiently as they align with their colleagues and company’s vision, translating into a big impact on the organization and its success and people's lives and careers.
As this topic is so important I want to share with you the key points that I learned in over 9 years of motivating volunteers and testing methods to spark intrinsic motivation with a global team and organization. These concepts become incredibly powerful if you apply them to the corporate environment because employees are craving purpose and a strong vision and a leader that knows how to bring out the best in each individual, while connecting individual purpose with the organization's purpose.
