More Than Lord: Yeshua Our Husband

In this teaching, we explore #Genesis 24 as a powerful #prophetic #picture of Messiah and His people. #Abraham sends Eliezer—whose name means “God is my help”—to find a bride for Isaac. The New Testament explicitly presents Isaac as a prototype of Yeshua, even hinting at #resurrection in Hebrews 11:19.Just as Abraham sends a #helper to secure a #bride for his son, the #Father sends the #Spirit to prepare a bride for Messiah. #Ephesians 5 calls this union a “great mystery” that ultimately points to #Christ and the Church. We also look at the Hebrew word kalah, which means both “finished” and “bride.” When Yeshua declared “It is finished,” He was completing the work of redemption—and calling to His bride. From there, we turn to the beauty of marriage as a picture of spiritual oneness. Marriage transforms us; two become one, identities are reshaped, and hearts soften. Scripture describes our relationship with the Lord the same way: metamorphosis, intimacy, becoming one Spirit with Him.This teaching also warns about becoming “unequally yoked”—whether with unbelief, sinful patterns, addictions, or even our own pain. Whatever we join ourselves to #shapes us.Through it all, the message is clear: be joined to the Lord. Let Him #transform your stony heart, reshape your identity, and draw you into the deep union He desires with His bride.#mitzvot #Jewish #shabbat #shalom #blowtheshofar #Shofarblast #MishkahnDavidRI #Tenakh #Bible #Torah #webelieve #BritChadasha #Godbreathed #wordofgod #inspired #messianicjudaism #messianic #christian #yeshua #faith #jesus #love #theway #biblicalmonth #biblicalcalendar #theway #thetruth #thelife #life #hope #love #birth #bornagain #moses #moshe #parshat #torahportion #Israel #Kalah #finished #itisfinished #HisBride #intimacy #twobecomeone #twobecomeoneflesh #unequallyyoked #whatwejointoweareshapedby #JOiendtotheLord #Transformation #stonyheart #desire #YeshuaourHusband
