15. How to get out and heal from an abusive relationship with Tianna Inman
On this episode Tianna and I are discussing emotional and physical abuse. How we knew it was time to get out and tips on how to heal afterwards. Most times the abuser in a relationship starts with emotional abuse like controlling, cheating and gaslighting and it escalates from there. Physical abuse can start with punching holes in walls, throwing things at you and move on to physically harming you. Abusers will also work in cycles where they will manipulate you to stay once they have abused you and say it was an accident, they will never do it again because they love you so much and if you leave them they will kill themselves or you. Be aware of the red flags and make a plan to get out before it’s too late. You are worthy of a healthy relationship that won’t give you trauma and ptsd. If you or anyone you know is a victim of domestic violence please report it and call your local authorities when it is safe to do so.
