David Glenn Lewis was a prominant attorney in Amarillo, TX when he disappeared in 1993. It was superbowl weekend and his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys, were playing in the big game. He had stayed home to watch and record the game while his wife and daughter went for a weekend of shopping in Dallas.
When they returned home on January 31st (after being gone since January 28th) they found David nowhere but the TV was still recording although the game had ended, there was laundry in the dryer, and fresh food in the kitchen. For 10+ years no one knew what happened to David that day.
February 1st of 1993 (just a day after David went missing) a John Doe was found to be a victim of a hit and run accident 1600miles away in Yakima, WA.
