In this podcast I speak with Samsara Tanner about what a doula’s role is for birth and postpartum. We speak in depth about what kind of care women can get postpartum, supporting women after birth into motherhood. Samsara is a Birth-keeper. With a passion for supporting women birthing their babies and helping to care and nurture them as a newborn Mother. She co-facilitates Mother and Daughter camps and workshops. And circles for women.
Samsara is a Mother to four adult children and has been a doula for her own three Grandchildren.
She is a trained childbirth educator, and KG Hypnobirthing teacher , a Birth Doula, Postnatal/partum doula and counsellor. She also delivers courses for both doulas and postnatal/partum doulas with Conscious Birthing doula Training. She runs the Village Birth-keepers midwife and doula practice with independent midwife Kemi Johnson.
