MNL Set To Meet In Corner Brook

Today, we’re turning our attention to one of the most anticipated events on the municipal calendar. This November 20th to 22nd, municipal leaders from across Newfoundland and Labrador will gather in Corner Brook for the 75th annual MNL Conference, Trade Show, and AGM.

The Corner Brook Civic Centre will serve as the main hub for what promises to be the largest assembly of municipal sector leaders in the province.

As Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador looks toward the future—with work in community building, partnership development, and ongoing advocacy to ensure Newfoundland and Labrador, Cities, towns, and Rural Communities have the tools they need to thrive—it is also a moment to look back.

Seventy-five years of progress, collaboration, and shared vision have brought us to this milestone, leading into MNL’s 75th anniversary celebrations in 2026.

From its earliest days, networking has been a cornerstone of MNL events. A look at the very first agenda shows how important those connections were. Today, that foundation has grown into something remarkable: 350 delegates representing over 100 communities,

It’s a gathering that reflects both how far MNL has come, and the ambition of the work still to be done.

And with that, we’re pleased to welcome someone who plays a central role in guiding that work. Our guest is MNL President Amy Coady.
