Episodes of dissociative fugue can last from a few hours to a few years. Sufferers can experience a single episode in their lives, or it can be a chronic condition with multiple episodes. If you’ve ever seen the film The Bourne Identity with Matt Damon, dissociative fugue might sound familiar. For teacher Hannah Upp, this was real life.
