She grew up studying classical music, while building her own style of metal violin playing by recording experimental songs on her computer at home. Her journey eventually took her to Seattle, then Los Angeles, where she joined the Mariachi Divas and recorded on their first Grammy award-winning album, Canciones de Amor. Since then, she has performed in various mariachi groups, as well as rock bands, cover bands, a burlesque act, and many studio tracks and albums. She is currently a full time musician, and enjoys specializing in the metal and mariachi genres.
