Music Technology is a fast growing content area of music education. One of the biggest challenges impeding further growth is identifying teachers who are qualified to teach these courses. Our college and university systems that provide music education degrees are general very reluctant to add a new content area to their curricula. This episode begins an examination of the history and traditions of our schools of music to find answers and perhaps solutions ato the situation.
