Five years ago, I was a Gang Prosecutor in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. One winter night, I decided to try an experiment: Could I learn Spanish from watching a telenovela? Five years later, I left my job and Chicago, to move to Mexico City, to write the telenovela of my dreams. I don’t understand Spanish or The Metric System. Just like in a great telenovela,, anything can happen... Stay tuned!
