Lamashtu - The Child Snatching Demon

Lamashtu was once a Mesopotamian goddess who was later more well known as a child killing demon. She was said to be evil towards mostly woman and babies as she would prevent women from having children and make pregnant woman have miscarriages. She is known to steal infants from their mothers as they breast feed and to be the cause of nightmares, sleep paralysis and men's night emissions. Did you also know Lilith, Lamia, sirens and even vampires can have their origins traced back to her? If this topic interest you, join us and listen!

Also, Do you have a story to share? If you email me and share your story I will gladly, with your permission of course, feature it on a future episode for the rest of us to listen and enjoy.
