Atty. Gio Gomez is currently the Program Manager of the Creative Industries Development Program Management Unit of the Department of Trade and Industry.

Upon graduating from the De La Salle University Tañada-Diokno School of Law, he earned recognition as a Human Rights Awardee. He also served as a consultant for the Regulatory Reform Support Program for National Development or RESPOND—USAID Grantee—for the Implementation of Rules and Regulations (IRR) of the Philippine Creative Industries Development Act (PCIDA); and as a Lawyer and Creative Industries Policy Consultant and the legislative head of Congressman Christopher de Venecia, who is the principal author of the Philippine Creative Industries Development Act.

Deeply committed to advocating for human rights and supporting creatives, he aims to empower individuals in the creative industry to navigate contracts effectively and protect their rights.
