If you listen to this episode, you’ll get a pretty good understanding of my core beliefs—what I’m fighting for, what I believe matters, and where I draw the line. I talk about wealth inequality, the need for universal healthcare, and the scam at the heart of our current system, alongside broader ideas about purpose, kindness, and the unrealized potential of local places like Niagara Falls.
That Trump address to the union wasn’t a speech. It was a tantrum. No plan. No vision. Just yelling at working people about money, like he’s a landlord banging on the door asking where the rent is. No empathy. No policy. Just grievance and noise. And that matters, because when someone has nothing left to offer, they don’t persuade—they get louder.
We live in a country where obscene wealth is treated like virtue, and basic dignity is treated like a luxury. People are told to smile while getting fleeced—to accept worse healthcare, worse wages, worse lives—because someone somewhere got richer. And if you complain, they tell you you’re “jealous” or “ungrateful.” That’s not capitalism. That’s not freedom. That’s a scam dressed up as morality.
Trump again knows he has nothing to offer, so it’s distraction after distraction. Culture wars. Outrage bait. Endless noise. While you’re arguing, they’re cashing checks. And when that isn’t enough, he reaches for trophies.
Look at the Kennedy Center nonsense. This guy lives for his name on things—buildings, plaques, titles. He doesn’t care about art. He doesn’t care about history. He doesn’t care about democracy. He wants trophies, because trophies are all he understands. He’s not building anything. He’s branding himself on top of what others built. That’s not leadership. That’s insecurity with a Sharpie.
Let’s talk about what the right actually wants for your life. Ben Shapiro’s vision is this: Jimmy Stewart is a fraud. Work forever. Sacrifice everything. Accept less. Smile about it. Meanwhile, the people at the top get to be Mr. Potter—hoarding wealth, power, and control—while lecturing everyone else about “personal responsibility.” Those are the real heroes, according to Benny.
Here’s the truth they don’t want you to say out loud: a country obsessed with worshiping wealth will eventually forget how to value people. And when that happens, democracy doesn’t die in one dramatic moment—it rots slowly, while people are told to shut up, work harder, and accept less.
I’m not doing that.
And neither should you.
