10.5.25 - Day 13/13 of the White Dog Wavespell - Electric Moon 16

When the Blue Night wavespell ends, hopefully you feel: situated in a home/shelter that you have in some way attended to, made safer or sweeter; had a massive nocturnal dream life, with long, expansive stories playing out in your psyche over restful hours; better off materially, or at ease with your material existence - maybe there's been a windfall, but mostly you just have a secure sense of being provided for. I find this to be the summary gift of Blue Night, and it's why I think of it as one of the charmed tribes for us to roll through. It doesn't have aggravating triggers for the human ego, but instead soothes us where our ego wants us to have security. Being unhoused in this culture is a humiliation. Blue Night provides shelter, and so we are less ashamed. Lacking material ease - or money - also makes us 'less than,' so it is extraordinarily helpful to have time pass that supports our experience of 'havingness' or abundance. And now we say goodbye to this focused, honed security, until next time.
