Holidays are times for sharing of experiences... multi-dimensionally- we exist in a complex way with differing dynamics. Not only in the constitutions of our families, but in how we relate to and with them, and of how we show up in that dynamic. Once we are able to recognize that we in fact exist in mind, body, heart and soul, we can allow ourselves to recognize all the ways we receive our loved ones- even well after they are no longer here with us. If CoVid has shown me anything in 2020, it's that our experiences are always our experiences and the love we've shared within our families (chosen and otherwise) exists long after they are no longer in our physical presence- for whatever reasons.
