In this video I talk to my new friend Rachel about the first two episodes of the new Hulu and FX docuseries The Secrets of Hillsong. Rachel attended Hillsong college back in 2000 and 2001 and was in her second year as Carl entered his first. In addition to sharing her feelings on the docuseries, Rachel shares how she and others felt about Carl Lentz before Brian Houston and Hillsong elevated him to the level of celebrity pastor.
I appreciate Rachel so much for being willing to share her thoughts. We believe it's important for people to have access to all sides of this story and be aware of the risks of being in a church with Carl Lentz strategizing or speaking in any way. Hillsong and Carl Lentz still have a lot to answer for, and we hope this story brings a little more light to the story.
