EN, AU, AUX with Countries — How to Say “To” and “In” in French (Lesson 14)

In this episode, we learn one of the most useful rules for speaking French naturally — how to say “to” and “in” with country names using the prepositions EN, AU, and AUX.

By the end of this lesson, you’ll be able to speak correctly and confidently:

• Je vais en Turquie
• Je suis au Canada
• Je veux aller aux États-Unis

You will learn:
✔️ When to use EN (feminine countries / countries starting with a vowel)
✔️ When to use AU (masculine countries)
✔️ When to use AUX (plural countries)
✔️ Real-life examples you can use immediately in conversations

💬 Practice with me
Repeat each sentence aloud to build natural pronunciation, rhythm, and fluency.

📝 Exercise
Complete the sentences:
• Je vais ___ Japon
• Je suis ___ Belgique
• Je vis ___ Philippines

Send your answers or practice on social media. I read and support every learner.
