In Season 2 of this podcast, we're not shying way from the big dogs of movies from our childhood, and Groundhog Day is easily an essential movie for most people. We take a closer look at this veritable masterpiece of a Harold Ramis movie, and, even though we're aware of the darker tone that this story almost took, we still love it. 3oz Homemade Sweet Vermouth

-Bring a cup of white wine to a boil with some cinnamon, star anise, lemon verbena, orange zest and chamomile while that comes to a boil melt a quarter cup of sugar into a caramel.

-Strain off the cooked wine and add the remainder of a bottle of white wine and your caramel.

-Once it’s cooled cut it with a cup of brandy, and you’ve got sweet vermouth.

Serve on the rocks with olive and an orange twist as you say a prayer and toast to world peace.
