What animal just appeared in Iceland for the first time, what’s the record for the longest message in a bottle voyage, and what unlikely dream job is a furloughed IRS lawyer embracing during the shutdown? Get answers to these questions and more in this episode of “That’s News to Us,” featuring student guests Alivia Klipp, Jaden Lodge, and Ohanna Mantilla-Rodriguez, and faculty guest Dr. Yair Solan, all of whom are associated with the study and appreciation of film here at NSU.
“That’s News to Us” is a news quiz show where guests compete in games built around current and wacky news. It is a collaboration between Mako Radio, housed in NSU’s Department of Communication, Media, and the Arts, and NSU’s Writing and Communication Center.
