From adventure to forever: Making a home down under
While packing up your life and moving to the other side of the world might seem like a fun new adventure, what if you want your adventure to become your forever?
Our host Kate Creedon is joined by two Alliance Nurses who now call Australia home. Charlotte is a nurse from England, who brought her family on the ultimate journey, moving to sunny Queensland with her husband and two children in 2021 and settling in Brisbane. We also hear from Shona, a nurse from Galway who first moved to Sydney with friends in 2018, expecting to stay a year. Five years later she’s now got her permanent residency, recently taking on a full-time position with an employer she originally worked for as an agency nurse with Alliance.
