Leah Gingrich

Leah Gingrich competed in her first Olympic Trials in 2004, at the age of 14. Now 31, she is coming off this year’s Trials having made the semi-finals in the 200 Butterfly. After taking six years away from the pool after finishing her collegiate career at the University of Texas, her joy and passion for the sport have been reignited. Leah and Chris discuss the importance of having fun and finding ways to enjoy your time in the pool, how she made the decision to get back into the sport, advice for young swimmers navigating the recruiting process, and managing the challenges and demands of the sport.
