’কফিহাউজের আড্ডা’য় আমাদের সাথে আড্ডা দিতে এসেছিলেন তরুণ বাবু, শ্রী তরুণ কুমার ঘটক। তরুণ বাবু বাংলা ভাষায় স্প্যানিশ সাহিত্য চর্চার একজন পথিকৃৎ। উনি চল্লিশটির বেশী গ্রন্থ সরাসরি স্প্যানিশ ভাষা থেকে বাংলায় অনুবাদ করেছেন, যার মধ্যে সবথেকে উল্লেখযোগ্য হল - ’ডন কিহোতে’ ও ’নিঃসঙ্গতার শতবর্ষ’।
আমাদের সাথে আড্ডায় উনি শোনালেন ওনার অনুবাদক ও দোভাষী জীবনের জার্নি, কোলকাতা শহরের বুকে বসে স্প্যানিশ কবিতা উপন্যাস অনুবাদ করার স্ট্রাগলের গল্প।
সেই আড্ডারই কিছুটা তুলে নিয়ে আসলাম আপনাদের জন্য।
