Welcome to the final episode of Season 1 where we focus on Congo.

The resource rich Eastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has been plagued by conflict since 1994, shortly after the Rwandan genocide. Parts are now controlled by the rebel group M23, and as a result, UN agencies say they are struggling to access vulnerable communities.

To help us understand the geopolitical forces at work and the unfolding humanitarian crisis on the ground, On Her Record speaks to Bazeli Mbo, President and Co-Founder of Team Congo.
