Tom is the owner of Egg Studios NYC and is an amazing freelance commercial photographer. Tom's work is so clean and identifiable, and I've been fortunate enough to work with him a few times already. Our normal off-work interactions mainly comprise of sharing dog TikToks and chatting about project ideas. So I called him up and we got down to the real talk, real quick. Given the current surge in asian hate crimes, we discuss our own personal experiences with asian hate. We also discuss Tom's experience in building a successful studio business from the ground up, and our ideas of what "success" truly means.
