The following Pause for Parenting programme looks at the theme and other related matters  for Drug aware mothers which was  highlighted in January. The theme “Strengthening a Prevention “ and it’s importance in the fight against drug addiction was examined by Nicolette Williams who works at the Substance Abuse foundation as a Creative Arts Psychotherapist/Addition Counselor and child & Adolescent Mental Health therapist.Ms Williams shared that the status of substance abuse in Barbados should be a cause of concern for everyone, she highlighted the role of parents and adults  to protect their children and do all in their power not to expose or encourage them to use illegal drugs.
