Mikael Pernfors & Swedish Great Joakim "Jocke" Nyström

In this episode, Mikael chats to former top 10 player from Joakim “Jocke” Nystrom. The right-handed Swedish player amassed 13 singles titles (18 finals), 8 doubles titles (including Wimbledon 1988 with Mats Wilander), and 3 Davis Cup titles (1984, 1985, 1987)

Joakim was part of the magic generation of great Swedish players in the 1980's and 90's which included Mikael, Andres Jarryd, Jonas Svensson, Stefan Edberg, Mat Wilander to name but a few.

In the interview they discuss:

1) His early journey in Tennis

2) Practice sessions/partners

3) When he peaked as a player

4) His new career as a coach at the Good To Great Academy

5) The Wimbledon Doubles Victory with Mats Wilander

6) Some quickfire questions

Massive thanks to "Jocke" for doing the interview and we wish him all the success in his career as a coach at the brilliant Good To Great Academy in Stockholm.
