In May 1951, a local history museum first opened at Windsor Guildhall. As we approach the 70th anniversary of our museum collection, we thought we'd take you on a behind-the-scenes journey to learn about our treasures and how the museum collection developed over the last 70 years. Come along with us as we reveal some of the more unique objects in our care and how we use our collection to research, share and preserve the history of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
