In this year-end episode, Meaty Panda and Cazden Hunter come back home to the Kennel with just the two of them as Handler and Pup, discussing the meaningful growth of their relationship dynamic. Both of them talk about communication being the cornerstone and moving through all situations with complete honesty and vulnerability with the willingness to both hear and comprehend each other.
Cazden shares his observations of pet play, it being unique to each person and continuing to develop his headspace and persona as Pup Fable. Meaty shares his initial self-doubts as a handler that have since lifted through getting more involved in the Los Angeles community while executing his skills in different places and with different pets.
They discuss the importance of dedicated spaces, especially with their busy schedules living in Los Angeles where they rely on local events like Chewi’s Kennel at The Bullet Bar, SoCal Creatures pet mosh at the Threshold dungeon, and the new CLAW LA Leather Getaway to find their way as newer members in the pet play community.
They talk about their experiences in different environments and identifying what each provides to them from socializing and making new pet player friends to skill and headspace building. Until recently, both Meaty and Cazden have exclusively been in gay male pup spaces and got introduced through Los Angeles Puppy Pride to pet players and events that are completely mixed from animal personas, gender expressions, and sexualities. The new experience has been completely eye-opening to the possibilities of their continued growth through more diverse interactions.
