In this episode of Sūrah An-Naḥl (verses 78–88), Shaykh Dr. Aḥsan Ḥanīf explores how Allah reminds humanity of their complete dependence on Him from the very beginning of life, highlighting the many blessings placed at our disposal for comfort, protection, and survival. The verses invite reflection on the signs of Allah’s mercy in creation and provision, showing that every ease we enjoy is a favour meant to lead us toward gratitude and sincere submission. At the same time, they warn against recognising Allah’s blessings while denying Him through disbelief, ingratitude, or misplaced reliance. The passage then turns our attention to the Day of Accountability, where false supports will vanish, excuses will no longer benefit, and every soul will face the consequences of its choices.
