Panel Perfect #08: Joker (w/ Drew Landry)

Panel Perfect is sending in the clowns this week as the boys welcome DJBooth.com writer Drew Landry to discuss "Joker", DC's R-rated take on the iconic Batman villain that absolutely no one saw. Contained within this mighty piece of media:

- Alex tells a story of impersonating the voice of Moviefone cost him a job.

- Is "Joker" really a more modern update of the classic story "The Killing Joke"?

- Drew ponders exactly what parts of the movie can be trusted due to the Joker's penchant for fantasy.

- Max would love to see Joaquin Phoenix's take on the character fight Batman (because of course he does.)

- Why does the violence in "Joker"  feel more real than something like Mortal Kombat?

- Would a sequel have to answer the mysteries posed in the film or would it be able to step around them?

That's all for now, folks! But return next week for even more electrically charged engagements on Panel Perfect!
