“Heeere’s Johnny!” To continue our month of spooky cinema we decided to cover a classic psychological thriller with so many interpretations it’s like discussing the end of Inception. It’s time to review Stanley Kubrick’s highly acclaimed “The Shining”! Come along as we discuss the terrifying events at the Overlook Hotel. We will be discussing the tense soundtrack, the set design, the hardcore acting, hidden messages, and of course the comparison to the original Stephen King novel. It sounds like a lot but we promise to keep it fun as we dig into the details! We’d hate for this to be all work and no play. As we know now, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.”
