Meanwhile, Lavinia and Persephone finally break the girl-code gag order on trauma Olympics, grey areas, and what it means to not be believed even by yourself. Oh, and, Ophelia and Joan might be making out??
Persephone is low-key losing control of her own feminist ghost summit. Which, tbh, was always the risk of inviting a bunch of traumatized dead girls with opinions.
There are no easy answers. But there are karaoke renditions of “Jesus Take the Wheel,” philosophical take-downs of democracy, and the quiet, trembling kind of truth that maybe — just maybe — makes the world a little less unbearable.
