Tithing reveals our trust and opens the door for God's generous provision. When God called his people to return to Him, He didn’t ask for rituals or sacrifice; He asked for trust expressed through the tithe. The tithe is not so much about money as it is about stewardship. Everything we have belongs to God, and we are simply managers of what He’s entrusted to us. When we tithe, we declare God (not wealth) is our source. Under the New Covenant, we’re not bound by law but empowered by grace to live generously.
