In this episode, Rodney talks about why it's so important to stay focused on one thing as a piano player, or in any other endeavor, and shut out everyone and everything else and just see what it is you do - all the way to fruition.  You must master, accomplish, achieve and succeed in one thing, before moving on to the next thing.  Because if you take on too many things, you will not only fail to achieve success, but you will not have any story of success from something, that you can lean on when taking on a new venture or endeavor.
