Dans un rêve plus vrai que l’aube, Jack le chat, Pierrot le coq, et la Corriveau se retrouvent dans un tribunal sans murs, sans juges… mais rempli de silences.

La Corriveau ne cherche ni vengeance ni pardon.

Elle veut qu’on sache. Qu’on comprenne pourquoi elle revient, nuit après nuit, enchaînée à l’oubli.

Ses chaînes sont faites de rumeurs. Ses blessures, de silence.

Pierrot écoute. Jack comprend.

Et peut-être que vous, chers bipèdes, entendrez enfin ce qu’aucun procès n’a su accueillir :

la voix d’une femme qu’on n’a jamais laissée parler.
